About the CRC

The CRC is a group of independent volunteers formally organized on May 22, 2006 to restore five historic and sacred cemeteries, located on the corner of West Main Street and Waverly Avenue within the Village of Patchogue.

These cemeteries include the Lake View, Rice, Old Episcopal, Union, and Gerard Cemetery.

Our Mission

To promote the history, the monuments and the natural beauty of the cemeteries in a park-like setting, for the benefit of the descendants of those who rest in these cemeteries and for the residents of and the visitors to the Village of Patchogue

To secure the restoration and preservation of the burial grounds, and to provide new landscape as well as architectural features that meet the needs of generations to come.
